Profile PosaClima: energy-saving wooden counterframe rebate
“Profile” PosaClima is a special multilayer wood panel specifically designed to be coupled to the Thermoframe sides, creating a rebate of the subframe with reduced thickness.
We offer for sale online this wooden counter frame stop built with a special plywood with a thickness of 4.5 mm.
"Profile" is obtained by pressing 3 unrolled layers of hard woods coated on both faces with phenolic resins to ensure perfect mechanical and thermal performance, superior to any solid wood, particularly required on modern counterframes which must guarantee good support for the frame with thin thicknesses which avoid the use of the external casing. It is therefore the most robust system that can be conceived with a wood-based material while remaining on a thin thickness. Phenolic resin film coatings are applied on the external surfaces which guarantee better waterproofing to the casing, making it applicable even in environments with a high percentage of humidity.

The Profile stop, in combination with the Termoframe shoulders (Comfort or Plus) is used for the construction of quality thermo-mechanical subframes. Thanks to the application of the plaster holder profiles on the sides, this rebate does not need to cover the casing. For this reason the subframe becomes economically very convenient, aesthetically more beautiful in connection with the wall and more effective in waterproofing the node.
Choose from 4 available sizes:
- 45 x 4.5 mm which creates a support stop of 25 mm - bar length 3 m
- 65 x 4.5mm which creates a support stop of 45 mm - bar length 3 m
- 85 x 4.5mm which achieves a support stop of 65 mm - bar length 3 m
- 95 x 4.5mm which creates a 75 mm support stop - 3 m bars length (minimum order 20 bars)
Advantages of the wooden window frame
- It does not deform if it comes into contact with rain or exposed to situations of high humidity;
- It is not sensitive to thermal changes , nor does it degrade if exposed to direct sunlight;
- The surface is filmed on both sides with a smooth part to be put inwards to favor the adhesion of the BG1 tape or silicone and a rougher part to be put on the outside to ensure a good surface of adhesion to both the foam and the plaster door profiles;
- Easily assembled on the Comfort and Plus Termoframe shoulder with both staples and nails;
- Resistant to rotting fungi and attack by xylophagous insects.
