The
Somfy Link Home Alarm Advanced 1875258 control unit is the heart of the Somfy Protect home alarm system. It manages radio communication with sensors, sirens, and other security accessories, allowing you to protect your home and receive real-time notifications on your smartphone via the Somfy Protect app.
Thanks to the
Wi-Fi connection, the backup GSM module and the emergency power supply, the Link Advanced keeps your home protection active even in the event of a power outage or Internet connection failure.
The device also allows you to expand and customize your burglar alarm system by adding compatible accessories from the Somfy Protect range.

Somfy Home Alarm Advanced is designed to keep the main security functions active even in unexpected situations.
In the event of a power outage, the Link Advanced initially uses the built-in rechargeable battery, which provides approximately 12 hours of battery life. The four backup alkaline batteries then kick in, allowing the system to operate for up to 14 days in total under the manufacturer's specified conditions.
If your Wi-Fi connection is interrupted, the built-in GSM module can continue to transmit security alerts to your smartphone, as long as the backup service is active and mobile network coverage is available.
Somfy offers the emergency GSM network free of charge for the first five years in European Union countries, according to the terms of service. A subscription is required after the sixth year.
Intrusion Protection with IntelliTAG® Sensors
The Link Home Alarm Advanced can be connected to
Somfy IntelliTAG® sensors, designed to detect break-in attempts on doors and windows.
These sensors analyze vibrations and allow you to distinguish normal stresses from possible break-in attempts.
When an intrusion attempt is detected, the system can:
- Activate connected Somfy Protect sirens.
- Send alarm notifications to your smartphone.
- Report any tampering attempts.
- Activate security automations with compatible Somfy RTS or io-homecontrol devices, for example by closing the shutters or turning on the lights.
