In order for the fixing to comply with the law, these anti-theft devices must necessarily be mounted at a height sufficient to prevent injury to people. The right of ownership, pursuant to Art. 832 of the Civil Code, gives its owner, owner of the property, the right to provide suitable means to defend the property (aimed at causing offenses to third parties who wish to disturb the enjoyment of the right of ownership ).
