Anti-theft Barrier with Spikes for Single or Double Rainbow Balcony
The
Rainbow Grimpo spiked burglar barrier is a steel security barrier designed to protect balconies, eaves, gutters, boundary walls and other perimeter structures from intrusion and climbing attempts.
This
steel anti-intrusion barrier represents an effective solution to
prevent thefts by climbing , making it more difficult for unauthorized persons to pass through balconies, walls and elevated access points.
The particular
radial structure , characterised by decorative spears and studs, combines the function of an anti-climb deterrent with a refined design, also suitable for installations on residential buildings.
Made entirely of steel and protected by an outdoor epoxy paint , the Rainbow spoke light offers high resistance to atmospheric agents and is available in various colours.
Rainbow safety barrier: choose the single or double version
The Rainbow anti-theft barrier is available in two selectable configurations, to adapt to different protection needs and the size of the surface to be secured.
Single R750 burglar bar – 750x750 mm (6 tips) : compact version with 6 steel burglar bars. Suitable for protecting balconies, cornices, perimeter walls and small passageways.
R1500 Double Spoke – 1500x1500 mm (12 points) : Wider version, consisting of two separate bodies to be assembled using holes and dedicated hardware included in the package. The double configuration allows for continuous protection, avoiding leaving a gap between the two spokes.

Grimpo anti-theft deterrents: regulations and safety
Grimpo
anti-theft deterrents are designed to protect homes, balconies, perimeter walls and other perimeter structures from intrusion and climbing attempts.
Italian law permits the use of passive property protection devices, commonly referred to as offendicula, such as spiked barriers, pointed fences, and barbed wire, provided that certain safety conditions are met.
Article 832 of the Civil Code recognizes the owner's right to enjoy and dispose of his property, within the limits established by law.
Article 51 of the Criminal Code , concerning the exercise of a right, may also apply to passive property defense systems, according to the criteria identified by case law.
For a correct and safe installation of burglar alarms, it is important to respect some fundamental requirements:
- Visibility : Devices must be clearly visible and not hidden or camouflaged.
- Signalling : The presence of sharp barriers must be adequately signalled.
- Installation height : bollards must be placed at a height and in a position such that they do not pose a danger to anyone who normally passes nearby.
- Proportionality : the protection adopted must be proportionate to the asset to be defended and must not create unjustified risks to the safety of people.
- Fixing safety : the installation must ensure stable and adequate anchoring to the supporting structure.
Grimpo burglar barriers can therefore be used as passive property protection systems, provided they are installed in compliance with safety requirements, applicable regulations and any local provisions.
Important: Installation compliance depends on the location, height, mounting methods, and site conditions. It is therefore recommended to check the installation conditions before assembly.
